Orchestral Tools
Experimental Recordings
Together with film composer Justus Berger, we made some experimental recordings for one of the world's largest manufacturers of virtual instruments, Orchestral Tools.
In a creative session, we locked ourselves in a concert hall in the Netherlands, and let off steam on a Steinway grand piano and an old mandolin.
We played the two instruments in a very non-traditional way and "maltreated" them, while recording everything.
Crown caps, shish kebab skewers, plasticine, butter knives and many other objects were used.
The result is something to behold! - Sit back and listen to our demo, which we made exclusively with the sounds from the experimental recording session.
